Lively Middle School (formerly Fulmore Middle School) is on South Congress Avenue, serving about 1,000 students. Lively Middle School offers highly academic programs, Lively Humanities and Law Magnet for International Studies, offering challenging coursework that both challenges students and supports them.
Since 1953, Travis Early College High School serves students in South Austin. The school offers a range of academic courses, competitive sports, fine arts programs and other activities. Travis is also the newest Early College High School in the area, in association with Austin Community College, that allows students to obtain an associate degree while they’re still in high school.
