Uptown ATX
A $3 billion, 66-acre transit-oriented master-planned community is set to be built near the Domain in Austin, Texas. The project will bring over 7 million square feet of workspace, family apartments, retail, and a new Capital Metro Rail Station at the heart of the development.
Uptown ATX has started the construction of One Uptown, its first phase on 5-acres. Other developments under Uptown ATX are The Chase at Uptown ATX which consists of multifamily units and Skyrise, two-high rise office buildings will over 1.3 million square feet of office space.
44 East Rainey
Canada-based real estate developer Intracrop revealed its plans for its first new development in Austin, TX. The high-rise condo tower at 44 East Avenue in Rainey Street District is set to be constructed in the fall of 2022. The structure is said to have 51 stories and is 545 feet tall within floor plans with 1- to 4-bedrooms.
321 West
The project is one of the upcoming Downtown Austin condos situated at 321 West Avenue in Austin, Texas 78701 and bound by 6th Street and Guadalupe is a collaboration between the New York-based real estate development firm Tishman Speyer and Minneapolis’ acclaimed developer Ryan Companies. The construction of the 675-foot tower & 58 stories has started. If all goes as planned, this dynamic structure will be finished by late 2024 or early 2025.
307 East
The luxury 307 East Ave, Second Street tower is a development project by the premier Hilton Worldwide branch – Conrad Hotels and Resorts. It’s speculated that once completed, it will be officially named “Conrad Tower” due to its extraordinary 65 levels and 756-foot height.
98 Red River
It’s official. The construction started on 98 Red River in downtown Austin and it is set to be the tallest skyscraper not only in Austin but throughout Texas!

Shelby Ranch
Located near South Austin, a 302-unit apartment complex with amenities that include beekeeping, chicken coop, fruit-bearing trees, and native flora. The community is expected to be completed in late 2024.
T3 Eastside
Houston-baed real estate development firm Hines is about to plant a heavyweight building in East Austin. The mixed-use development is under construction and is expected to have 93,000 square feet of office space and 9,2000 square feet of residential.
Four Seasons Private Residences Lake Austin
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced its plans to build a 179-unit residential property located off Lake Austin in West Austin. The private residential community of 145 acres will be located on Bridge Point Parkway, west of Loop 360 and the Pennybacker Bridge.
The community will feature 18 buildings and 179 resident spaces that range from 1,900 sqft condos to 7,000 sq ft four-bedroom units plus luxury amenities. It is expected to break ground in 2023 and open in 2025.
Emory Crossing
Scottsdale, Arizona-based homebuilder Taylor Morrison announced the development of Emory Crossing in Hutto, TX. The community will feature 1,341 single-family homes. The project is said to boose the population of Hutto by about 4,000.
The Travis
The Travis is an upcoming two-tower luxury multi-family development in Downtown Austin. It will be Austin’s exclusive-use apartment tower that stands 50 stories tall with 400 units. Another tower will be used as a hotel and condo. The Travis is said to be completed by the late fall of 2024.
Vesper
Rising in 2024, experience authentic Austin living in the vibrant Rainey Street District at the Vesper Austin. Vesper offers 284 units with penthouses, 1-2 bedrooms with three curated finishes.
Commercial Construction
Austin’s economy is booming, and the city is attracting a diverse range of businesses. Perennial
The Perennial is more than an office; it’s a building that brings the outdoors in and promotes well-being. The building has 46 floors, including 24 office floors, 17 parking floors, and 3 retail floors. It features a stunning lobby with a 28-foot waterfall, and a 30,000-square-foot Sky Garden located 200 feet high in the Austin skyline. The Sky Garden has 23-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and can accommodate up to 500 people, with open space for company events and smaller, peaceful areas for individual activities. The Republic
The Republic offers a fresh take on office space in Austin’s historic district. Tesla’s Gigafactory
Musk picked Austin for its $1 billion auto factory. The Texas Gigafactory officially opened in April 2022 at Del Valle. It is said to be one of the world’s latest and most advanced plants. The facility is the main factory for Tesla Cybertrucks and the Tesla Semi. Austin Business Journal reported that the planned construction could bring Tesla’s footprint to 5.6 million square feet.
Apple Campus
In 2019, Apple announced its expansion in Austin where it has broken ground on its new $1 billion, 3-million square-foot campus that will initially house 5,000 employees with a capacity to grow up to 15,000. Apple reported that it and its manufacturing partners have invested more than $200 million in the 244,000-square-foot Mac Pro facility. This 2023 ABJ reported that Apple will pour another $100 million into its new Apple campus.
SpaceX
Space Exploration Technologies Corp, also known as SpaceX, has submitted plans to construct a 521,000-square-foot building in Bastrop County, as reported by the Austin Business Journal (ABJ). The project, referred to as the “Shell Building”, was filed on August 31st of 2022 with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Valex Corporation
The California-based advanced components manufacturer has chosen Round Rock for an expansion that will create 75 jobs. According to the Austin Business Journal, The Round Rock City Council approved Valex Corporation for incentives that will air the company to move into a 60,000- sqft facility in the Crystal Parl development at 120 E. Old Settlers Blvd. Valex Corporation has worked with tech giants including Intel Corp and Samsung Electronics.
Block 16
Washington, D.C.-based owner, operator, and developer of commercial properties, Carr Properties, is expanding its Texas footprints with the development of a 43-story, 738,000 sqft office tower in Austin. In partnership with Manifold Development, Carr Properties will be developing the next-generation office building in Downtown Austin called Block 16. The completion is expected in Spring 2026.
CitizenM Hotel
A high-rise hotel tower is being built on a .23-acre site at the northeast corner of Seventh and Colorado streets in Downtown Austin. The hotel is said to have 344 rooms and is projected to be 17 stories tall. The estimated completion date for this project is in late 2023.
Zilker Point
By August 2024, a 96-foot tall mixed-use tower south of the river will be finished. This impressive structure includes 195,000 square feet of office space, 14,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and five levels of underground parking for convenient access.
